About Built by Sonderborg Skibsvaerft AS in Denmark, she was converted by the Clyde Harbour Authority for maintenance of navigation buoys. This work included strengthening the hull and fitting a steel deck, plus the heavy duty crane, bow thruster and stabilising tanks.
She has an 8 reg ton derrick crane - this up to 20/25 tons using the stabiliser tanks, plus a 3 ton bow crane and a semi ice breaker hull.
She has nine plus berths for comfortable living.

Layout She has a steel deck area about 60ft by 27ft with a small hatch about central.
Forward on deck is a fo'c's'le storeage area with deck above.
Aft is the derrick machinery and the accomodation etc.
Under the deck is a hold area with two large water ballast tanks and the engine room aft.
A hydraulic machinery room is aft of that, powered by two Ford six cylinder diesels.
Under the full width bridge is a large saloon recreation area.
Aft of the saloon down the port side corridor is a galley, a bathroom, then a dining area and a cabin with two berths.
The steering is aft and then going forward along the starboard corridor is a 3/4 berth cabin, a single cabin, a bathroom and the captains cabin with double berth.

Notes She has two stabilising tanks installed for use with the heavy duty crane. The main engine is air start, with a separate compressor for this purpose. In running condition. She has engine controls from the bridge.
